Jacob A. Smith, WVU Wrestling Highlights

Jacob A. Smith is a homegrown Charleston, W.Va. native from George Washington High School and Competitive Edge Wrestling Club. He wrestles for West Virginia University as a redshirt junior at 197 pounds. Smith competed three times this month at the WVU Coliseum. He is currently ranked No. 5 in the country and on his eleventh-straight win.

The Mountaineers will head to Clarion for one last match before heading to the Big 12 Championships in Tulsa, Okla. on March 4-5. Then, they will finish out their season at the NCAA Championships in St. Louis, Mo. on March 16-18.

WVU Women’s Tennis Game Highlights (Feb. 19, 2017)

The West Virginia University Women’s Tennis Team opened yesterday’s match by taking the doubles point, but Virginia Tech won four straight singles to claim the victory, 4-3.

WVU Tennis prepares to host Virginia Tech, Marshall

The West Virginia University Women’s Tennis Team is preparing to face two backyard rivals this weekend at the Ridgeview Racquet Club. They will host Virginia Tech on Saturday, Feb. 18th, and Marshall on Sunday, Feb. 19th.
